INGREDIENTS
1 packages Trader Joe's Sweet Potato Gnocchi, cooked according to package instructions
3 slices bacon
1/2 cup frozen peas
Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
GARLIC SAGE BUTTER SAUCE
8 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup heavy cream
2 garlic cloves, minced
5-6 sage leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook bacon on medium-high heat until crisp. Once cooked, chop the bacon into small pieces and set aside.
Cook the gnocchi: Using the same skillet, add the frozen gnocchi and cook according to package instructions, about 5-10 minutes. Gently add in the bacon and peas to the skillet.
Prepare the sauce: Melt the butter in medium-sized pot over medium heat. Stir in the garlic, and cook until the garlic has softened and is beginning to turn golden brown, about 4 minutes. Stir in the sage and salt then add the sauce to the same skillet the gnocchi is in. Gently stir a few times. Top with parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
